Ford Focus

The Ford Focus is a compact car that is designed for families. It was first introduced in the year 2000, and it was designed to replace the aging Ford Contour and Ford Escort. This car can be purchased with two transmission types, and these are the five speed manual and the 4 speed automatic. This model also uses the Ford C170 platform. This car can also come with a number of different body types, and some of them include the four door hatchback, the two door hatchback, the four door sedan, and the four door station wagon.

The standard engine for the Ford Focus is the 2.0L 110hp straight 4. The first generation includes all the models that were produced between 2000 andford focus 2007. The second generation will being production in 2008, and it was introduced at the North American International Auto Show in 2007. This generation will use the grille design, which is also present on the Ford Fusion. The exterior of the second generation will be completely different from the first, and the 5 door hatchback will be discontinued, along with the three door model.

The second generation Ford Focus will use a message center that will sit on the dashboard, and it will provide the user with radio data. The newer Focus will be a bit shorter than the older model. The appearance is more sports like, and cup holders, aluminum dashboards, and a Microsoft electronics system will be present. This electronics system will allow for MP3 players, Bluetooth, and a number of other digital products. This newer model will also use the 2.0 liter engine.

The Ford Focus is produced at two facilities, and these are in Wayne, Michigan and Hermosillo, Mexico. The Ford Focus has competed in many racing competitions, and these include the Speed World Challenge Series.
