Ford S-MAX

The Ford S-Max is a sizeable MPV that was designed for the European market. In addition to this, it is also sold in China. The car was first introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 2006, and it was offered as a sportier version of the original MPV. The S-MAX was highly successful in Europe, and it was given the European Car of the Year award in 2007. This car has also been recalibrated and sold in Japan by Mazda. The S-MAX comes with a total of five doors.

This is the first vehicle to use the Kinetic design, which was invented by Ford. The Kinetic design is the replacement of the New Edge design, and the Kinetic design has also been used with the Ford SAV. The Kinetic design includes things such as headlights which are angular, and it also has a small grille and a “mouth” which sits beneath the bumper. One notable feature of this vehicle is the FoldFlatSystem. This feature allows the seats in the second and third row to fold completely into the floor.

The FoldFlatSystem has proved to be quite popular among the customers. This vehicle can come with five engine types, and these are the 2.0 L Duratec straight 4, the 2.5L Duratec turbo straight 5, the 1.8L Duratorq TDCi straight 4, the 2.0L Duratorq ZSD TDCi straight 4, and the 2.0 L Duratorq ZSD TDCi straight 4 130 PS. It should be noted that the 2.5L Duratec turbo straight 5 engine is also shared with the Focus ST.

While some Ford brands have not been very successful in Europe, the S-MAX is one of the most successful brands to be sold in the region. The S-MAX is closely related to the Ford Galaxy, and it is placed in the Large MPV class. The rear seats were designed to be used for special occasions, and a sliding cargo tray can be added as well.
